Holiday Travel

The cases of COVID continue to increase in our state and county, and it’s important that we all take responsibility to reduce its spread.

If you travel during the holiday break, please follow the CDC’s guidance for travel.

Please keep in mind that once an individual is exposed to COVID, it may take up to 14 days to develop symptoms. Therefore, it is advised that you curtail any activities which may put you at higher risk to contract the virus 14 days prior to traveling.

Avoid activities like hosting parties, attending large gatherings, being away from personal living space for extended periods of time, and visiting individuals who are not part of your immediate family/friend group. All of these things can increase the risk of getting COVID. As always, keep practicing the 3 Ws (Wear, Wait, Wash) to protect yourself, your family, and the community.
